After stumbling on his work at Cherubino City Cellar, then connecting on Instagram, visiting his studio twice, patiently watching everything he did and has done, we finally have our own piece of David’s amazing, spirited, colourful work in our space. The whole experience was seamless with David always more than happy to carry out those massive canvases into his courtyard space to see it in different light and to get an alternate perspective. The ability to monitor the progress of his works on Instagram really helped maintain that connection with him throughout the year it took before purchasing a piece. The installation was included in the purchase price and was done on time with no dramas.

The first David Spencer painting that we purchased 15 years ago, still hangs proudly in our lounge room today. Our love affair with all that he creates has continued over the years to the point where we now have a collection of pieces that remind us of different stages in our lives whilst also reflecting Dave’s own personal journey. We’ve watched and admired his development of fresh styles to his art with his most recent paintings being a great example of how unique and creative his work has become. Dave is a beautiful person with an incredible talent. We are proud of his achievements and recommend his work to everyone.
