This piece is packed full of arty symbolism and meaning. It’s really a combination about fertility, pregnancy, preparing to be a parent and of course being one.

The curves are my partners belly and the growing star inside. Beyond that, is actually inside the womb. Where the star grows to its capacity and environment and this is where my son helped with some drawing.

Watching my son draw was amazing. How he chose colours, how he drew hard and soft in different areas and especially how he moved and explored around the board.

At the time of this painting he’s 14 months and I think it was a successful collaboration. But at the very least, it was fun!

I asked my little boy to help me make an art piece. Needless to say he didn't hesitate contributing. Little champ! Music "Truckers delight" by the Flairs.
