There aren’t many kids that can coast through life and become adults that hadn’t suffered and suppressed some trauma. I’ve been dealing with one thing that only comes up the minute I let it go. It follows me, it’s lingers and is quietly resilient to my moving on.
Without permission, It holds on to a part of me for its own selfish reasons and after years and years I’m getting tired of it. Luckily painting helps me release my feelings.
Time to make a decision. Time to be free and accepting of grim memories.
