Have never been to the East coast of America. Would love to see New York one day, but I've never been really been buzzed by cities. Much rather the spectacle of nature.
Wanted to really marinate my older style of patterning and detail with my newer style of bold shapes and colour. I particularly love the massive orange colour block.
This landscape was the result.
The piece took months and went through many different stages until I found my direction.
I think it has a unique composition which is particularly unusual for me. It's balanced with interesting little spots sprinkled all over.
