Maybe an ode to Spandau Ballet, but music has always a strong relationship with my art. Taking a softer approach with this painting, I was working on the washes and layers all the while keeping an eye on the open space.
Having a slight addiction to Royal Blue at the moment too, very 80's - just like the song!
