Sometimes certain paintings just resonate with people. I did a painting a few years ago like this one called “Silk”. I couldn’t tell you how many times I could have sold that piece.

So naturally I thought I’d use a similar palette, but more lilac and an elegant composition to create this one. I’ve refined the ideas in the painting much more, but the feeling and emotion remains the same.
