I heard this term the other day and it was said to express having a beer with a chronic hangover. With the knife being the headache and the next-day-beer being the ‘duller’.
I thought it pretty classy and created an honouring to the night before. Strewn bottles and cups and a few crazy stories and mischief ready for the next day.
We’ve all been there.
