Debouchure

A$6,100.00

2023
Mixed media on canvas
122cm x 152cm [Redux]

Went to Mandurah with the family over the weekend to find the giants. I haven’t really been there in at least a decade and holy shit, the place is pretty fun! Easy beaches and lots of things to do with kids.

Took a boat tour and saw heaps of dolphins and cruised through the water front luxury homes and out to the estuary.

What an amazing waterway. Full of life, way too many jet skis. But I was still digging the vibe.

Anyway, the colours and waterscape made an impact on me which resulted in this painting.

And for those as clueless as me, “Debouchure” means ‘the mouth of a river or valley.’
