Mixed media on canvas
112cm x 112cm
As soon as I painted that scratchy white bit, it reminded me of a waterfall. The my brain whirled into gear and I immediately remembered playing with my sister in Kings Park doing boat races with leaves. There was this waterfall somewhere as well. As a little one, it was so exciting passing behind it to watch volumes of water splash away before our eyes. There was a cave there too.
Got a bit wet as we reached out to touch the streaming water. Innocent times, despite my Mum’s nerves thinking we’d slip in.
