Caught up with an old friend Saturday afternoon. Had a delicious meal and a few drinks overlooking the ocean. We talked about our current lives, cried a bit, reminisced about the adventures of the past and touched on our future selves. Where we want to be in a few years. What are our goals. Boy, we laughed a lot - always have!
Two hours suddenly became five and I was on my way home in an Uber at 10pm. Was up early enough to go to the Canning Vale Markets, which was near full of Pokémon card sellers. Naturally my boys were enthralled. I bought my first card, which felt kind of special.
Anyway, all of those events and feelings tangled with the smell of Thai noodles from the markets, blended into this little romance of paint.
