Following on from my recently finished work ‘Pomelo’, this painting came straight out of the gate. I really feel like this painting is showing some maturity in its design, style and control. Love the colours! Giving me major nostalgia, like rummaging through Grandma’s sewing nook and finding a treasure trove of buttons, ribbons, and fabric scraps.
The name has a beautiful meaning too - Its definition refers to the warmth of sunlight in the winter. Ahhhh…
