2022
Mixed media on canvas
163cm x 190cm [Redux]

Went over an old painting and was searching my mood to give it a title. Stumbled on this whacky-ass word, I couldn’t help but imagine it’s the name of a local blue grass band or something. Reading its definition, I thought it a perfectly described the sheer volume of detail and fastidious work in this painting.

When I do these ‘line’ paintings, I’m so close to it when I place the paint on, I see micro level features and textures I would never have noticed before.

It’s pretty cool!
