I've had the Greg Lewis photo print that I swapped for a painting about 14 years ago. Wow, that's a long time. Unfortunately it got slightly damaged when we moved, so I decided to paint over it as a "collaboration".
The original print was a women laying at the beach, which filtered into the inspiration of the paintings movement and colour.
I like the title, because if someone has ever broken up with you - you may have heard the line, "It's not you, it's me." Twisting on that, it was a Greg Lewis piece. But now it's mine... cheers mate!
