  • $500,000

  • Consultant with Art Theory

  • Working closely with the client, and the renowned Kerry Hill Architects, we started the project with understanding: visiting best practice examples of specialised health care, researching the role art can play in well-being and gathering insight from the many stories that shape this site’s rich history.

To date we have developed an art strategy for the site and sought out opportunities for heritage interpretation. This strategy establishes the vision for site as a whole, proposed locations, curatorial theme and mediums to form a cohesive collection for the site. Additionally the strategy illustrates to local council how public artworks will meet criteria, to enable approvals moving forward.

We are also well underway with selecting artists and artworks to shape a bespoke and extensive collection consisting of Western Australian artists, shaped to enhance the wellness and sense of belonging within Woodside.

  • “This was” Painted recycled limestone blocks on board. 180cm x 240cm, diptych. Commissioned for @dillydallysubiaco and made in collaboration with @studio_benson I was brought in to help consult on the art component with this project and immediately was interested in reusing the materials that was being removed during the refit of the space. Loved the urbanism and the texture of the discarded limestone and after a considered process with @studio_benson we liked the idea and symbolistic acknowledgment to the projects previous identity - while at the same time creating a new one.

  • Artist and writer

  • Hi all, just putting it out there that I've published a children's book called "Eevee eats everything!"

Wanted to try something different and having read numerous books to my kids, thought I'd give it a crack.

Based on the observations of our hungry spoodle, my focus was on the illustrations. The hardest things was to dumb down the writing and remove all the unnecessary fluff.

Anyway, if you're curious on what Eevee dreams of eating, links below:
